The days are getting shorter, longer nights, cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, cable-knit sweaters, and football. Not only is the season changing but so is the way we’re cooking. Although here in San Francisco, a=our weather is a bit more milder in the Fall, I’ve been enjoying visits to the Farmers Markers and swooning over the Autumn bounty—squash, sweet potatoes, eggplant, kiwis, persimmons, pears, and apples. It’s been inspiring me in the kitchen, and wanting to create warming (and, okay, gluttonous) comfort food dishes, like stews, pot pies, and mac and cheese.
I’m rounding up 10 Unbelievably Easy Fall Recipes You Need to Try This Week! These fall recipes couldn’t be easier. When you want a dinner that SCREAMS fall, break out the brown sugar and make one of these hearty casseroles, pureed soups, or skillet dinners—they’re way better than anything store-bought.
