Who am I? A constant work in progress. No, seriously.
I am always evolving, trying to improve myself in every single aspect of life. I’ve always been someone who will reflect on everything, read countless self-help books, listen to hours & hours about health hacking podcasts, and put in the work to improve.
Self-improvement is self-love. It is one of the best things you can do for yourself. And the best way to practice self-love is to nourish your mind & body to flourish.
If you can learn to love yourself, you will be much happier and will learn how to best take care of yourself. When you are truly in love with yourself and happy, you stop comparing yourself to others so much and find yourself more confident, not worrying as much about what others think. Perhaps this is the wisdom gained in our mid-30s?
In San Francisco, we are days away from SIP (shelter in place) being lifted. It’s been over 3-months of drastically changing what was once normal. I’ll be honest; the first month was brutal—no socializing, no frequenting my fave coffee shop, no more nights out or dining experiences, no more Bikram or Core 40 classes.
These last 3 months of fewer distractions, is just what I needed to refocus on what is important to me, focusing on goals both personally and professionally, and diving into passions.
What has my last 3 months looked like:
???? Better habits: It’s been over six weeks of switching to 100% all plant-based diet
???????? Bodies in mention: 5 weeks of Alexia Clark workouts. Finding Alexia’s workouts have been just what I’ve been looking for.
????????♀️ Running: I’ve also taken on running once again. I’m at the 8-mile mark.
????????♀️ Deep dive into yoga: 3rd time is a charm for YTT? I think so. I’ve re-enrolled in YTT to dive a bit deeper in my yoga practice. More than halfway done. Who knows where this will lead?
???? I’ve found a new love for scrap gardening. It’s helped me think on a bigger scale & want to help in solving the food desert crisis in America.
???????????? Enrolled in lessons to improve my Español.
???? I’ve been working on a few new projects. I can’t wait to share a little bit more about them soon.
