This weekly series is based on incredible, strong and empowering individuals that inspire me through health and wellness. They are people that have made an impact on my life, big and small, that motivate me to be a better version of me, and I hope they can inspire you as well.
As the voice behind AskLeahRenee.com and a certified Holistic Health Coach, Southern California blogging mom, Leah Watson’s schedule is undoubtedly jam-packed. Lucky me to be able to chat with her for a Fireside Chat of sorts. She is someone that inspires me through her sharing of stories and recipes, that you’ve probably seen some of her recipes here.

VF: Tell us about yourself (what do you do, location, hobbies):
LR: I’m a stay-at-home-mom of a sweet, fun 1-year-old girl in sunny Southern California. I am a part-time blogger about health/recipes and motherhood, two topics I’m very passionate about. I’m a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I love spin classes, yoga, hiking, biking, cooking, and traveling. LR: Tink (short for Tinkerbell)
VF: WHAT IS The first thing THAT YOU do when YOU wake up?
LR: Get my daughter out of her crib. She’s my alarm. If she seems happy in there I let her play in there and I’ll make myself a warm cup of fresh squeezed lemon to start the day.
VF: WHAT IS The one thing that YOU can’t live without?
LR: My family.
VF: DO YOU HAVE A MANTRA?
LR: Life goes on until you’re dead.

LR: So many things. People. Places. Those who do good whether someone’s looking or not.

LR: …Sunshine and surrounding yourself with those you love and love you back.

LR: Fish tacos. Just yum.
