When used properly, exfoliating can help you achieve healthy, beautiful skin.
How often should you exfoliate your skin?

Since your lymph nodes are typically where toxins settle, you’re literally detoxing yourself as you massage. It’s a win-win and one of my favorite ways to self-care daily.
What is the difference between an exfoliator and a scrub?
Body and facial scrubs are helpful in achieving smooth, glowing skin. But what’s the difference between scrubs and exfoliators? Body scrubs are products you can use in the shower to slough off dead skin cells. They usually contain Sugar or Salt Scrubs as their main ingredients. Exfoliating Body Washes and Body Lotions are other types of body scrubs.
Facial scrubs are products that contain small beads or particles that help to remove dead skin cells from your face. Microdermabrasion is a popular type of facial scrub. You can also find Body Scrubs and Facial Scrubs that contain Exfoliating acids like Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid which help to loosen dead skin cells so they can be washed away more easily. In general, I prefer using Body Scrubs in the shower because they’re more effective at sloughing off dead skin cells. But if you have sensitive skin, you might want to try using a Facial Scrub instead. Just be sure to avoid using any product with large beads or particles on your face, as these can damage delicate facial skin.
